Meet Angela Yvonne, L.Ac.

Helping You Navigate Menopause, Mood, and Pain with Compassionate Care

With over 15 years of clinical experience, Angela has been helping patients in San Diego find relief and balance through acupuncture since 2008. Specializing in pain management, stress and anxiety relief, and hormone balance for menopause, she blends expertise in traditional medicine with a compassionate, holistic approach.
Angela’s journey into acupuncture was deeply personal. With a background in social work and firsthand experience supporting a loved one with mental illness, she became fascinated by the mind-body connection and its role in overall well-being. This passion drives her work, especially in helping those navigating mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and the emotional shifts of peri-menopause and menopause.
Beyond acupuncture, Angela incorporates supplements, diet therapy, and lifestyle recommendations to create customized treatment plans for each patient. Her goal? To help you feel pain-free, calm, healthy, and whole—inside and out.
Beyond the Clinic
When she’s not in the clinic, Angela is a busy mom to two energetic boys who keep her on her toes and bring her immense joy. She also runs The Pain Free Project, a non-profit dedicated to providing acupuncture services to survivors of human trafficking. Outside of her work, Angela finds balance and inspiration through her book club, hiking, and exploring San Diego. She’s a fan of Orange Theory, yoga, and gardening, always looking for ways to stay active and connected to nature.
