You’ll start with a 15-20 minute consultation with one of our acupuncturists to ensure Calm San Diego is a good fit for your health goals. We’ll discuss your health concerns, common symptoms, and overall goals to create a personalized plan to help you begin your path to mind-body wellness.

Each acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of ultra-thin, flexible, and gentle needles into the skin at specific acupuncture points along the body’s meridians, stimulating the central nervous system. In turn, this releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes work to regulate and maintain the flow of Qi (energy) within the body, clear blockages and stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal and promote overall well-being.
